This is for Carey's Sketch Challenge. I made a smaller gift card - 4.5" x 4". A new stamp set just arrived in the mail and I had to play with it; daffodils are one of my favorite flowers. I had fun watercoloring the image for the first time. For panel #2 - I cut the flower panel using an oval die; however, I first fussy cut around the flowers & stems on both sides in order to use the out-of-the-box technique. Then I layered that piece on #3 -card base. I placed an embossed piece at the side for panel #1 slipping it under the flower & stems that were fussy cut. I used a glitter pen on the daffodils, along with sequins which made it all sparkle & shine. It is so sparkly IRL. Fun sketch. Hope you get a chance to play along. TFL

Your new daffodils are gorgeous. Love the out of the box design and the doddled edge on the curve.

Gorgeous card! This is one of my favorite stamps. Love how you cut it out and layered it using the out-of-the-box technique.
