Putting the winter pansy to use before the blooms fade.
This was a fun technique in which I pressed the flower with my Big kick rather than pounding it. I did pound some flowers as attested by the remains on the garage floor!!!

I'm going to try that. I think you get a more controlled floral image that way, rather than pounding it with a hammer. I love your beautiful yellow pansy. That is a lovely sentiment and the purple bow is splendid.

I have been playing in my art journal when my grandchildren have visited and done craft with me. I also finally started a 2 page LO yesterday using mixed media. It's taking me longer than I expected and think I should have just scrapped it normally. Will try and post my LO today. Happy day
