Today's challenge pounded / pressed Flowers . . .I did ALOT of these last summer so I know from experience to stay away from anything PINK - for some reason they always leave a gray or brown image - so this morning I went to my garden and picked some blue flax and gazania. I usually use a hammer for this technique but tried the big shot today. I laid my flowers & petals onto watercolor paper and covered with serveral layers of paper towel (this absorbs any liquid that may be forced from the petals so you don't get a wet mess) Then ran through the machine. Die cut nesting frames from coordinating paper and finished with a tiny bow & sentiment also in the floral colors.

Thanks for the paper towel tip. I remember last time I did these I really did get a wet mess with some. Your flowers turned out beautifully! The sentiment is really wonderful with them!

Wow, this turned out wonderfully! And next time I try this, I will try the paper towel tip as well! Beautiful pressed flowers, wonderful bow and sentiment.

Just beautiful, Linda! Gosh, your flowers must come out early - I don't think we have flax here, but even in Greece I only remember it coming out in May, and turning the roadside verges blue. The layering with the circles looks just great.
