I own quite a few Ranger Distress Ink pads, but am still learning many new possiblities with them. I did a search for some You Tubes, and saw where you can use water on your stamp to stamp onto the distress ink. I had this cute silhouette stamp of a girl checking her mailbox from an old retired SU set, and gave it a try. Then I stamped some SU trees with one of the neutral colors of distress ink I had. I stamped this sentiment from Eureka with versafine black. I also dropped water off of a paintbrush to get the added water spots for the lighter dots, and then stamped with a purple distress ink with one of my old itty bitty bg stamps from SU to get a darker contrast in there too. I had never tryied this before and am having so much fun learning the many properties of this ink that can't be achieved with other inks. I will be doing some more for sure. Thanks, Tim Holtz for the terrific You tube I watched. Isn't it amazing what we can learn by the wonders of technology??
