Hi there,
Today we are being inspired by My Sweet Petunia blog and to celebrate the creation of the Misti. I use mine every time I stamp and wouldn't be without it.
Here is the card that I took inspiration from: http://blog.mysweetpetunia.com/2016/...ith-misti.html
I began by creating the bkg.instead of using dp. I inked my acrylic block with Distress ink, sprayed with water, then instead of just pressing it onto my paper, I dragged it down. I stamped the PB flower using my Misti then stenciled with some drywall tape to mimic the look of the plaid.
Thanks for looking, http://snippets-karen.blogspot.ca/20...ving-life

Gorgoeus card Karen....the colors on this are so rich looking. I love the stenciling using the drywall tape...it adds some wonderful texture to your design.

Karen, you created a beautiful background for your flower, and the stenciling tops it off beautifully! I love to use my Misti, too! How did we stamp without it? LOL

The dragging down is very effective, Karen. I must try this, because I can't say I'm ever very happy with the effect I get by simply stamping with the block! This instantly made me think of the big greenhouses in the Botanic Gardens, when the sprayers are on and it's misty inside. It's just beautiful!
