I usually take forever to decide on a technique or project tutorial when planning out my challenge projects, but this month I made these journals first. The link to the tutorial is here. I was really surprised at how easy KellyJean Gettlefinger described and wrote the tutorial. I hope you give it a try.
I had completed my first journal when I realized the DSP and the copper foil were no longer available (it's the Petals & Paisleys Specialty DSP from the Holiday 2016 mini catalog). Since I was running short on time, I decided to keep moving forward and make another from my stash of Affectionately Yours Specialty DSP. Thank goodness I hadn't cut into the specialty paper yet!

Wonderful projects. The way I look at it, you've showed us two different versions, one using retired dsp and the other using current dsp. I believe the copper foil is still available. These journals look fabulous and would work so well for a class where people make a "Creative Woman Journal."
Thanks for sharing the tutorial as well as your beautiful projects.
