I took advantage of this week's color challenge to debut my new alcohol markers! This is my first attempt at coloring and shading with them and I'm mostly happy with it. Need lots more practice!
I started by stamping the image on white heavy cardstock in Ranger black ink. I colored it with the markers and used an oval stencil to make an oval shape around it, and cut it out (die cutting machine - SOON!) then layered it onto purple background paper and cut that out close around it.
I made a card from white cardstock, and layered it onto the card. I added a strip of pumpkin colored plain paper across the bottom and topped with an olive green ribbon (argh, my favorite go-to ribbon and I'm almost out! Panic!). I had run the edges of the orange strip across a pesto pad to make it pop a little more, and did the edge of the card as well.
Fun challenge, not a combination I have used much but I really ended up liking it! Thanks for the challenge, and for looking at my card!
