Kathy asked for winged things on our CAS cards today. I've had this Sweetbriar Rose stamp forever & I don't remember ever using it! I also fell in love with Jo's glass butterfly, seen here, so I tried it. Only I just stamped my butterfly on the acetate, then punched it out. I was afraid to try embossing on acetate! I colored my flower with pink & green chalk pencils & blended out the color using the pink eraser (remember the one from grade school?) Yep, I used that one! I wanted my colors very soft. It was finally nice enough to photo outside & the 'glass' butterfly casts a shadow.
Fun challenge today Kathy.
Thanks for stopping by.

Wow.....love what you did to your colour....beautiful, smudgy, airy look! Love the way your butterfly came out too....I KNOW.....you might as well say that the acetate WANTS to melt on you....lol....you have to be really carefull!....but I see from yours that it doesn't really need embossing....i'm going to have to try it that way. TFS!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

Your glass butterfly looks amazing -(I saw Jo's today too and wondered why I had never heard of or learned that trick) It's a beautifully fragile look in keeping with your softly colored floral spray.
