I have a goal to try to do the Inspiration Challenge for each week in 2017, but since I made the goal recently, I decided to go backwards to the beginning of 2017 as well as keep up going forward! I had been going through the Featured Stampers' galleries and tagging my favorites to get back to, but the Free For All Friday challenge this week was a good motivator
to get in there and start making some cards, and I got through all of January's Featured Stampers!
The FS from the week of January 15 was tjdstampsalot. Congratulations, Twyla!
I love this design, super quick and easy and adaptable to so many looks by just changing the type of papers -- plus you can use it for pretty much any other occasion, but it's extra great for Christmas when you want to mass produce cards!
I started with a kraft card and picked three patterned papers from the Echo Park "I Love Christmas" pad. I measured and cut to make sure everything turned out even and adhered the strips using tape runner. Then I took a kraft cardstock scrap and stamped the sentiment on it toward the right end, leaving a space for a flower with a brad center, which I glued on with a Zots glue dot, which pops it up and gives a little more dimension while still keeping a low profile for mailing. I used more tape runner to attach the strip and the card is finished!
Congrats again, Twyla! I hope you had a great week as Featured Stamper!
TFL!
