I try to make one card for each challenge but I was so far behind this week that when I saw I could combine the Color Challenge, Sketch Challenge, and Puppy theme from the Ways to Use It challenge, I went for it!
I don't have the official SU colors but I think I got pretty close!
I stamped the image (which may be my oldest stamp -- its copyright date is 1994 which is 2 years before I even started stamping! I picked it up on clearance in '97) on a circle of dark yellow cardstock and backed it with a slightly larger circle cut out of light blue. I decided to make this a bigger 5.5" x 8" card and made one from light yellow cardstock. I layered on darker yellow from the same shade as the circle with the dog, and attached the plaid from a 8x8" Colorbok pad. I attached the green ribbon and the chipboard ribbon/banner piece (which started out as a strip pointed on both ends, I cut it in half with MANY passes of my craft knife) and added the brad to the hole that was in the chipboard piece, which I then attached to the card with double stick tape. Then I added silver glitter glue to the pup's collar tag and stamped the greeting on the edge of the circle, and attached the circle with double-sided foam tape to pop it up.

Nothing wrong with combining, especially if you're short of time and all the elements fall into place! The chipboard banner is great, a bit like a dog's leash or collar. Cute dog, too.

Doggone adorable! Love the puppy image. Wonderful that you could combine challenges. Great colors, it works. Terrific take on the sketch. I like the chipboard piece at the top. The plaid paper looks terrific. Well done! TFS
