I got the title of my card today from the name of my designer paper. :-) I thought it was really cute.
The image is watercolored, coloring just the pheasants. I did go over the underwing of the pheasant with a Copic because it just didn't look right when finished watercoloring.

I agree, that is a wonderful plaid for a masculine card, and it also goes perfectly with that wonderful pheasants image. I love the way you've highlighted the birds and your coloring is beautiful

Wonderful masculine card. I like the plaid background for the beautiful pheasants. We have a nest of pheasants here on the farm. They are beautiful creatures.

I love the colored birds and the RED framing. The plaid is so masculine, so different from Angela's feminine card. Beautiful!

I would think the title had more to do with the pheasant spreading his wings. But either way, it's a Great title, Brenda! I love your beautiful coloring of this masculine wintry scene!
