I designed this card based on a little chapter from the book "50 Truths Worth Knowing". Chapter 12 is about a woman who disliked being human - she never quite measured up to her own exceptions. Instead of focusing on the positives in her life, she seemed to dwell on the mistakes she made, the times she didn't quite measure up.
Then her dad was diagnosed with advanced cancer and as she walked that journey with him, she invested in spending quality time with him and making precious memories. When his life's journey came to an end, she had no regrets, because she knew she'd been there with him and that was what was most important.
She also discovered that even though her dad had not been perfect (he was human, after all), the imperfections disappeared from her memory and she was left with precious memories of a wonderful father. As a result, her own focus about herself changed and she is striving to be the woman who sees the good in herself, fixes the mistakes she makes as quickly as she can, and lives without regret.

God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
Love your card - excellent choice of DSP. More importantly, I love that you shared where your inspiration came from. We could all use a little reminder from time to time...
