This is my 2nd twisted box. I found instructions here. There are also videos on how to make it if you search 'twisted box'. When you open it, the inside is an inverted pyramid. There is a second one on the other end. I made my box so that both ends open. You can also access the bottom section by untwisting the box. I thought the explanation for getting the box to twist into shape was awkward, and figured out an easier way to do it. Explanation follows:
The diagonal folds are valley folds. All others are mountain folds. Be sure that all of them are creased well before gluing. Glue the box into a tube and lay it flat so it looks like a normal box. Then fold the first angle over & flatten so it looks like an X. Grab the right and left edge on the upper half of the box. While gently pushing toward the center, the hand holding the closer portion will twist away from you and the other hand will twist toward you. This action should make the entire box twist correctly & you can close the top and bottom.
The butterflies are from my stash.

At least everything is in reach . Mahalo much for sharing and the inspirations along with awesome knowledge
