Here is my inspiration card: Rainbows and Wheat fields by bubblestx4 at Splitcoaststampers
I love the watercolor look. So I used distress inks for the background. I'd never done the stencil then spritz and remove technique. I love how it makes the background look.
I took a 3/4" brush and applied water to both sides of watercolor paper.(I've never done this before either.) Then I applied color with my paint brush. I laid down the stencil, spritzed with water then immediately removed it. I used my heat tool to dry then stamped my images in black ink. I stamped my greeting and sponged it then added it with dimensionals to my card. I used my butterfly embossing folder for the background of the card.

OHH - I like this even better than the first one. since the colors are a bit more intense it REALLY lets the ghosting make a statement in the bg. Beautifully done!

It's a super technique and a very pretty card.
