As Simple and Unassuming as this Hello stamp is, it's my Favorite stamp. I feel the elegance it exudes! And I know when I use it, it is going to make whatever I've thrown onto a card look SO much better.
I've had my eye on this Tim Holtz die for quite awhile and each time I had the opportunity to buy it I changed my mind because I never felt I would get that much use out of it, as beautiful as it is. So, finally I just got tired of being so wishy washy about it since I went through the should I, shouldn't I bit again, and just bought it. So what if I use it only one or two times. I really like it and I finally have it and I'm going to run with it. Well.......when I first saw it on Pinterest I was so impressed with the beautiful paper the creative mind put behind this die I thought I've got this made with all the gorgeous papers I've been hoarding. You would think. I tried a whole herd of papers behind that die and none of them impressed me like the original card I had seen on Pinterest. I was not a happy camper. Gloom and doom hovered above me (you know, the little raincloud thingy) for several days. Then as I was taking a quick spin through Joann's a Gleam hit me in the eye and I spotted this really exciting electric blue holographic paper. Looked up and saw that my little cloud thingy had gone away. Grabbed the paper and headed home. Ran upstairs to my little 10 inch x 10 inch workspace (don't ask, it's bigger than it used to be) and scrounged around a little bit looking for where I had put my cut die. When I finally found it I put that In Your Face electric blue holographic paper behind it and heard a smattering of an angelic choir afar off. I am now a happy camper. That's one card down and maybe there will be a second one. There has to be another Brilliantly Exciting paper out there somewhere. Right???
Thanks for giving my card a peek, and have a Fantastic Creative week!

Wonderful die cut and love the beautiful paper behind it. A simple Hello is always so perfect on a card to send to someone just to say hello and this one is a beautiful script. Thank you so much for playing along in the challenge and bringing a favorite.

This is so simple and elegant. I love this die cut. It looks beautiful with any of the holographic papers behind it, but the bolder ones are truly elegant. TFS
