I chose this for my inspiration for 2 reasons: First because it's a color combo I wouldn't usually use and Second because 30 years ago (or more) I bought bags full of ribbon for 5 cents a spool (who can pass up a bargain) and this one has never seen the light of day. . . .
First I stamped the flower cluster in frost white onto the aqua then added the die cut decorative curved square & greeting. I tied on the chocolate ribbon and bow. Since it seemed a bit unfinished and flat I decided to finish with the tiny ribbon rosebud to repeat the floral theme I had stamped in the bg.

So pretty -- I love that little rose embellishment. BTW, blue/brown is one of my favorite color combinations. I used it on the sketch challenge this week.

Pretty color combo for your b'day card. Haven't moist of us bought something that was a "bargain"....and then never or rarely used it. Glad you got a good chance to use your ribbon.

Too funny about the ribbon not having seen the light of day. You did a fabulous job tying that bow. Blue and brown go so well together. Love how you did the background paper!

Always liked blue and brown together! Beautiful card, I have some of that ribbon! Seems like all of us have lots of ribbon! Love the little flower in the corner!
