For the "Tuxedo - Black & White" challenge at heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com I wanted to do something different than a romantic card so I made a birthday card for Eldest Son's upcoming 30-something birthday. I used a dots folder to emboss white CS, then adhered to black CS & white base. I embossed the sentiment on a white strip, added the shimmer trim & adhered to base. I embossed & fussy cut the dog, adhered with foam tape to the die cut oval & adhered it with foam tape. The clear WOS on the balloon doesn't show in the photo. A few sequins finished the card. I considered adding dots to the dog, to somewhat match my real Best.Dog.Ever, but my sample just didn't look right, so I used a Prisma black pencil to color in his front. Also entered in sundaystamps.blogspot.com for sketch 146. TFL!
