To start out this page, I stamped the DRS Designs Script Font Background stamp in a SU! Crumb Cake ink. Next I stamped the Lighthouse, He is Risen, and Sailboat images in the same ink. I find it is easier for me to stamp everything in a light color so it doesn't bleed through, then I can skip the normal page prep (Yes! I am lazy). Then, I outline my images with a Micron Pen. I colored up everything with watercolor pencils which I finger blended, and then I put in a few white highlights with a gel pen. I was lucky that I had a blank page in my Journaling Bible at the end of Galatians so I could do this page up really big.
These verses are so magical (Galatians 3:26-29) - they tell of how once we become a Christian, the lines that formally separated us are gone. No more man versus woman, no more fat versus thin, old versus young, no more judging by skin color or physical beauty or money. God judges us by our hearts and our love for Him and not by all that other meaningless and petty stuff. Freeing isn't it?
