This is a card I created for my weekly DT post on the CottageCutz Blog.
I used the Blended Pencils Technique. It's found here on SCS.
I stamped my violets image on kraft cardstock in Stampin'-Up white craft ink and set it aside to dry.
Colored the violets with Prismacolor Pencils PC932 & PC1008 and the centers with PC916 and PC1002. The leaves are colored with PC109 & PC989 Prismacolor Pencils. I used a French Gray PC1063 for the rocks at the bottom of my image and PC941 Light Umber for the soil around the rocks.
Stamped my sentiment and used the MISTI for placement. I ended up having to stamp the sentiment twice so the MISTI works great for that purpose with clear stamps.
Framed my image with a wide pierced rectangle die cut in whisper white cardstock. Layered that onto my perfect plum card base.
I finished off my card with the die cut word February and that was cut from perfect plum cardstock. It's a new die from CottageCutz.
