I was SO excited to see today's challenge!! I don't have my IO gals with me, but I do have my Crazy Birds. The BG is done with Ken Oliver color burst powder, on watercolor paper. I lightly sprinkled on some powder, then misted with water. My "bird broad" was stamped on mixed media paper, watercolored with distress markers and a brush and water. The same with the hat. They were die cut and popped up with foam tape and I added the sentiment. Here at our condo we have 3 neighbors who belong to the Red Hat Society. The first time my DH saw them returning from a meeting, he said "what the heck, it's not Halloween!" I had to explain to him what it was about. So this is dedicated to them. Today's gallery is going to be so much FUN!!

I'm with your DH. Celebrating with hats is not my idea of being a sassy old broad.......my DH's grandmother, at 95, danced on a table with her brandy alexander. I aim to do that someday!!! Great job using what you had with you!! Hugs (to Bill too!)
