First of all, I have to say--did you all see that?! What a game!! Brady-Belichick, Baby!! WOOOOO!!! I tell you what, Southern New England pretty much just stayed home today. I drove straight into work with no traffic this morning.
Secondly, Kia has given us a very cool challenge today--to take an old heart/love card of ours and remake it in our current style. Super fun! I kind of read the challenge as redoing a heart card without realizing it was supposed to be a love theme. I could've found a different one, but this was the first card in my gallery that had hearts on it: Birdhouse Birthday by Jennifrann at Splitcoaststampers
I don't have much card making history--this is just a little over a year old, but before I got my (life-changing) Spectrum Noirs. I stuck with the same heart EF and roughly the same color palette and kept it a birthday card. Couldn't quite fit four birdhouses on this one.
I think I've come a long way in a year and I also think I have you all to thank. You all inspire me every day, but also cost me a lot of money!

One can see how your style has evolved from the first card...as pretty as it is. You now have lovely shading on the birdhouses and the entire composition is so pleasing.
