This stamp set has four lighthouses but I always tend to gravitate towards the NC lighthouse. Go figure. LOL. This is my addition to Sabrina's call for lighthouses over at the Teapot gallery. I had a piece of watercolor paper that I had done a while back experimenting with washes mixed with PearlX. The result is a subtly shimmery light wash. I wanted that to be the focus so i just stamped the lighthouse using black ink, I went back in and colored a few areas with watered down ink and a water brush to give it a little more depth. I then went online to learn how to tie the cute little knot before adding it to my card.

So elegant, Jacqueline!! The soft blues and the stripes remind me of a fashion exhibition we went to in Paris, based on naval uniforms and their influence. The knot is a perfect finishing touch.

What a nice lighthouse image and the striped background paper really makes your image pop. The rope knot that you took the time to learn how to make is the perfect embellishment for this perfect card. Well done.
