I created the background, and then die-cut the rectangle, edged it with a black Sharpie and popped it up on a piece of die-cut foam to match.
I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of tissue paper which was on my desk - it had been stamped with a cheesecloth backgrounder. And I added some die-cut feathers and several brads, some of which have Stickles on them.

Sabrina, your card is gorgeous! I like the colors you used, and the embossed feathers are awesome. The die cut that you edged with black ink really stands out, and your card border is great. I love seeing brads used on cards and I hope we see a come back of them. I have drawers full of brads! Great artwork, my friend!
