HERE are the feathers that inspired me this morning.
I had wanted to make a "book" for our son the English teacher, using a number of images of Poe and his stories. I had the book ready, and the images saved, so I put it together for him for Valentine's Day. He will be here today so I won't have to mail it!
See how good you are at remembering the works of Edgar Allan Poe. As a hint, there are 12 images to help you.
I hope this counts as fulfilling the IC today.
P.S. The family just left, and my son loved it, and of course got all 12 references!!! I'm so glad I did it!

I have only read a couple of Poe's pieces and used one in a speech contest. Love the Poe theme and love the ring that inspired this for your son. Beautifully done!

Anne this is AWESOME!!! Your son will fip when he sees this...so many wonderful Poe references..I'm sure his students would love to see this and pick out their favorite Poe tale, too. Just one more thing to say...to quote The Raven....."Nevermore"....

Wow, this turned out great. I just love the literary theme...what a perfect gift for your son.my claim to fame is that I have memorized most of The Raven...one of those goofball things I did in my 20's.
