When I heard we were to use "bells" on our card, an immediate alarm went off and I went searching. I can't believe I do not have one single bell that I could find in my huge collection of stamps. I may have missed one somewhere, but it didn't happen this time.
Then I thought of a song I learned when I was young and still hum it sometimes. You probably know it too.
White coral bells upon a slender stalk
Lilies of the vally deck my garden walk
Oh! don't you wish that you might hear them ring
That can happen only when the fairies sing
That's the song as I know it and I made my card with it in mind. I am still humming it a day later.
I "lifted" the picture of the coral bells from the Internet. The sentiment is Hero Arts and the fairy is an old favorite from PSX. The background is green, but my camera is "on strike" after dark. I hope you like it.

Carol, I was nearly thinking I would have to use my lily of the valley because at first the only stamp I could think of, the bells on it aren't much bigger than the head of a pin, LOL. Thank you for sharing that little song - and the lovely photo.

Very nice Carol! I love your little fairy and sentiment next to a picture like that -- very pretty!!

Beautiful card, made even more special by your description. I'm not familiar with the song, but I understand why it inspired you. Love your creativity with the bell challenge. The fairy is so sweet and goes very nicely on your card with the photo. Excellent job! TFS
