It is a well suited sketch, Cathy and well adapted too. I chose to use my beauty as the vertical element and have the heart wrap around her.
She's a Graphic 45 stamp which I got to color with Tessaduck's Inktense pencils a few months ago. I had fun spending the afternoon in Brenda's studio. She also let me have a go with her Zig's as well. I decided today, I would fussy cut her from the heavy watercolor paper and go play in front of that fun dp. The heart shape is cut on one side and propped for dimension. I added a pretty gem hair ornament, embossed the love from Hero Arts, stapled the panel onto a glittered mat and it was all good.
Reminds me of our dear Anne Ryan's lovely Asian Beauties. Reminds me how I miss her. Hopefully she'll be back soon, sharing us with her art and blessing us with all her encouraging.
I've been sick recently...and have Nyquil withdrawal...the only reason I can see for being awake 24 hours now...I'll suffer the full on cold next time...yawns

Your creativity astounds me Susan! Always a treat to see. I'm suffering play date envy too for sure! Your elegant lady is beautifully coloured but even more gorgeously embellished. Her hair ornament and swanky bracelets look amazing! Love the partially popped up heart behind her and the classy colour scheme. Great card!

Oh Susan, thanks for the giggle!! I love the partially raised heart, the bg paper, the staples, and that lady is awesome. Love what you did with her. You know, sometimes the cure is worse than the malady. I'm with ya gal!!! Hugs!

Oh wow. So artistic and vintage. Love it. I like how you raised up half of the large heart, as you said to wrap around the woman. Love her jeweled hairpiece. You're right, this image does remind me of Anne Ryan's Asian ladies. I miss her in the gallery, too. So sorry you've been sick, but you came back with a bang with this fabulous card. I like the love sentiment at the top with the long tails. Nicely done. TFS

This is outstanding Susan. Your lady is colored so well....envy your play dates with Brenda. You always add your touch, which is so eye appealing. The card did remind me of Ms. Anne, and hopefully she will be back soon to share her talents. Fav'd Feel better soon!

What a stunner you created in Nyquil fog--is this a case of drugs making better art? So creative to use the lady as your vertical strip. I LOVE all the bling too. Pretty much just love everything about this! Faved!
