The tea party this week is bringing lighthouses to send to each other. It's tickle a teapotter week!! So I pulled out the stamp of my all time favorite lighthouse, Cana Island Lighthouse in Door County, WI. I love it there and it always brings a sense of calm when I visit. I stamped my image onto watercolor CS in Black Stazon. I then used my Spectrum Aqua's to do a watercolor wash of the sky and earth. I then used the same pens to highlight the trees and grasses. I then cut it out with my oval die & matted on Mossy Meadow. Stamped my sentiment in Mossy Meadow, matting on the SB postage stamp in Mossy Meadow. I then popped both of these pieces over my large WW embossed mat. Oh I wonder where it will go???? TFL ladies.

What a beautiful stamp - must be a lovely lighthouse to visit. It looks kind of windswept and bleak, and though I'm assuming it must be on the lakes, it actually reminds me of Greece - that golden sand . What a wonderful sentiment, too. I can't imagine having inland water big enough to need lighthouses!

beautiful card on its embossed background and the sentiment is just the one you needed here, the soft coloring and the green frames you used work very well together

Mary, this is very soothing, I love going looking around Lake Erie or any place I vist that has light houses. There is just something so alluring about them.
