This is for the Christmas Card Challenge February to use people and for the Free 4 All Challenge - Cuddling & snuggling (optional to use texture). I am focusing on using up old supplies and I have a lot of pre-stamped images for Christmas. Found some of this image and thought this tender embrace of a mother holding her baby is definitely a precious snuggle. I wanted to keep the colors on the muted side and pulled a color, Pale Plum out of retirement that I haven't used in decades. Watercolored the image. Switched the colors around for the cardstock pieces. Used a variety of embossing folders and some mulberry paper scraps. For embellishments, I added some embossed die-cut hearts which kept it flat and easy to mail. Thanks for looking!

Oh this is sweet as can be!!! Love how she cuddles her babe...and when she kisses her baby's face she kisses the son of God! Thank so much for playing!

Diane,
the scraps of mulberry paper was a genius addition to these beautiful cards! It makes it look like strings from a baby blanket! These are beautiful!

These are so pretty! Your coloring of the Mother and Babe is lovely. I applaud your using older colors. I am trying to use up all of my old papers as well. Need to make room for new ones. hehe
