This is my card for alpha challenge letter A, post #8092. For the letter A, I made an arched card & used the word art. For part 2 'what does the alpha challenge mean to me?', I think the alpha crew is like a pretty bouquet of flowers, each unique in color and style, but each an artist creating beauty in her own way.
I used the bricked EF, but rather than run it through my cuttlebug, I stood on it, so there is just a hint of bricks, rather than more defined. Ha! Apparently my weight doesn't compare to the amount of pressure in a die cutting machine.

This is lovely Melody... very subtle and elegant! I call dibs on the pink flower.. haha! I really like that stamp! You are so funny... standing on it instead of running it through your machine... brilliant use of the arch for letter A. And your distressing looks wonderful. Maybe you can teach ME how to do that! Thank you so much for sharing. xoxo

I agree about standing on the folder. You just taught us a new trick! I love your card, thank you for the sweet compliments, and I have dibs on the tiny turquoise flower at the top!

This is so creative and really impressive Melody. This arched window is really fantastic. And I love how you stood on your embossing folder and achieved this wonderful look. This vase of bold, bright blooms really is a wonderful way to describe the alpha sisters. If I may, I will choose the yellow flower- anything that reminds me of the sun makes me quite happy. Hugs my friend! ~Karen.

Melody this is lovely! I love the idea of standing on the embossing folder for a suggestion of the folder. Your comment about your weight being less pressure than the machine made me laugh out loud. A creative, lovely card with lovely comments about the Alpha crew.
OH, Melody, how did I miss this beautiful card? And how sweet to compare the Alpha crew to a bouquet of flowers. You are a lovely flower in the bouquet! Great card for our "A" gallery.
