I made this card for this week's color challenge hosted by Roberta (stamp'nana). The colors she chose are basic gray, rose red and very vanilla. This card represents two major challenges for me. 1) I learned how to use a blender pen for the first time. There may have been a little growling involved in this process. LOL, and 2) this is the very first time I have participated in a color challenge. Fun! I am also sending this card to a gal who was recently diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. There is someone here on scs who is asking people to send cards to this lady, but I cannot find the link to that. I do have the address to send the card to so if you are interested in sending a card to this gal, send me a private message and I will share the address with you. This image was stamped in basic gray. Then I used a blender pen and rose red ink to color in the flowers. The sentiment was cut on the cricut using the Phrases cartridge. I used Glad press n seal to press against the sentiment before removing it from the cricut mat using my spatula (this keeps everything together). Then I applied Tombo glue to the back side of the sentiment and set it down on my finished card and pressed firmly. Once the sentiment was firmly attached to the card, then I removed the Glad press n seal. This was a really fun card for me to make and I have kept the gal I am sending this to in my thoughts and prayers the entire time as well.

You've done a beautiful job on this card. I love that you prayed over it as you worked - she will be lifted up. Thank you for doing what you can for a stranger - just the perfection of obedience to Christ!
