Started my panel with dashes of color using Brushos in green, purple, red, and yellow. Didn't like the combination so I took a bit of the color off using a baby wipe. Added more purple and yellow Brushos.
Still not happy with the result so I added the flowers stamped with Black Stazon ink. Colored several of the flowers and others with a red Wink of Stella.
Then added dashes of perfect pearls shimmery white, and circles of distress paint in blue and white right from the bottle! Thought it was still too dark and missing something so I added clear Wink of Stella to the entire panel.
Divided and cut the panel to fit approximately an A2 card, backed it in a white cs and placed it on a black base. Added the large rose die cut for a final touch adding Clear Wink of Stella to the rose.
Still not that happy with the outcome but it does shimmer!! TFL!

Your background is gorgeous! The darker colors do sort of swallow up the roses. Did you try cutting the roses in white. they might stand out more from the background. They both are beautiful and we need to see them both! I love the background, glad you kept going with it!
