This card is for Karen's colour challenge, I really should be doing my DD cards for the month but couldn't resist the colours Karen posted for this weeks colour challenge - SU Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette and Old Olive, just love, love, love this combination.
The card was inspired by Jennifer McGuire over on her blog found here http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2017/01/edge.html
Of course my card is nothing like Jennifer's, it just morphed but still retains the design principals (see the above blog link)
I can't even begin to tell you how much fun I'm having with my Christmas present from DH (the Misti), it makes over stamping to heat emboss (one of my all time fav techniques) so easy and there was a lot of stamping and masking involved in this card.
I didn't have a border stamp that was long enough or suitable for what I wanted so I created one but it required building the border and doing this took half the time with the Misti and a lot more accurate. I'm not forsaking my Stamp-a-ma-jig but i have done something i said i would never do and de-mounted a wood mounted stamp so that I could use it in the Misti.
there will be more info on this card on my blog on monday once I have done my DD cards
Cheers
Marg

Gorgeous! Love how you used the colors. The border you built is beautiful and I love how you cut around it. I have that stamp set, so I'm putting your card in my favs. The sentiment is fabulous! You and I are alike. I got a Misti for Christmas, too. (Our DD's wedding was last weekend, so I haven't had time to play with it yet.) Sounds like you had fun with it. Up to now, I've used the Stamp-a-ma-jig. Also, I said I would never de-mount a wood stamp, will the Misti make me want to do that? I think it might. Love everything about your card. Great job! TFS
You have built a lovely boarder! I have been de-mounting stamps since I got my Misti! Love my Misti, too! Beautiful card! I will probably be CASEing this one!

Beautiful card! And, I know exactly how much you must love the MISTI..same here. Don't know how I made a card without it.

Very pretty card! I have this stamp set but have not played a lot with it. Thanks for the inspiration! I just recently unmounted two stamps to use in my Misti to get a good impression. But you are right, sometimes, you will still need the stamp-a-ma-jig so don't get rid of it. Nicely colored flowers with your copics.
