So my barbed wire came out great and worked like a charm and I got three great stamps out of it. I was going to do the entire panel and a setting sun BG but I had to set it aside for a bit. When I got back to it I found that one of my sweet fur babies had taken off with it. One might think with the bright green foam I used I could find where they hid it but I have looked high and low and that stamp is no where to be found. So I used part of it in the upper left corner and have another piece left over for another card. My girls love to play with foam. Just goes to show why I have to keep my craft room closed. LOL!
Die cut barbed wire on foam and stamped with Versamark on white and heat embossed with copper. Added a sunset color by sponging yellow, coral, light blue, dark blue and purple to the barbed wire panel. Embossed the white panel with stars. Stamped the horse and colored with copics then mounted on dimensionals on the black. Finished off with some twine and a button.
I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards.
Thank you for looking!

I am dying to know what the challenge is going to be!! This card is absolutely awesome!!! That black horse looks like it came right off a page in a book - it is gorgeous - your barb wires are neat as well!!! I love this!
THE NEXT DAY: Cats are funny creatures - it is amazing what they want to play with. My Precious is funny that way too. So cute!! Keep looking .... Giggles.

What a fantastic card this is! I read all the Black Beauty books and this card truly does justice to Black Beauty. I love the technique you used to do the barb wire in the setting sun! Very nice. I love the embossed bg and the beautiful layering that showcases the horse. The touch of twine with button is the perfect finishing touch on this wonderful card! Hugs! ~Karen.

Love this, Lisa! Wow, the coloring on that horse is fantastic and the copper embossed barbed wire fence is such a great addition. The embossed stars back this perfectly. Thanks for making this fantastic sample for my challenge.
