One of my New Year's Resolutions is to Bible Journal more and to get over being embarrassed by my horrible handwriting (which prohibits me from sharing most of my BAJ pages....but that is not what BAJ is all about so I need to get over it).
Used this week's color challenge colors - Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Old Olive (actually it is the closest I could get to them since a lot of my inks were packed in a bag and I can't seem to find it - watering down things seems to help get close to colors). Once I did various shades of the colors on some aluminum foil, I pounced some scrunched up paper towel into them and pounced it on my page. Then I drew in my window, flowers, and words.
This whole page of Malachi is very eye-opening - I know lots of people who can testify to its truths - including myself. I continue to struggle with it but I am working toward improving!
Did you know there is a Bible Art Journaling forum here on SCS? I just found it yesterday and I am so excited!!! I love that I can find inspiration in the challenges to help with my BAJ as well - thanks for the color inspiration girls. Spring is just around the corner.

Nancy, you are an inspiration to me! it is SO TRUE: you can not out-give God! He will always Bless us back if we take the first step and plant that seed, whatever it may be! Thank you for the reminder! Love the way your pounced on colors turned out and you are way too hard on yourself about your handwriting. There is nothing wrong with it, remember the way God sees you! ; )
