Congratulations Pam aka wearestampers for being this weeks' featured stamper. Your gallery is terrific filled with lots of color and style!
Valentine's Day is a month away and was inspired by this card: Tree Carved Valentine by wearestampers at Splitcoaststampers
Changes made:
From embossed bg to stenciled bg
From sentiment to initials in tree
I made this card for DH who loves deer hunting.
The background is a new technique I learned this week from a class I'm taking.
It's shaving cream with drops of food coloring- yellow, red & green them swirled with skewer. I then taped my stencil to white CS, then scooped up the colored cream with a plastic scraper and applied to the stencil. I then scrapped off the cream. The end results are muted colors similar to forests.
I used chocolate chip marker to draw the heart & our initials in the tree. Added the diecut deer with doe popped up on foam dots.
Very easy to make, just a little messy, but oh does this card smell good!!!!
Thanks Pam for the inspiration and enjoy your week!!
