I was inspired by Cook22 (Sabrina's) card Bird Remake (Bird Remake by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers) which I loved, along with this red and black floral Afghani dress (http://i-dont-wear-dresses.tumblr.com/search/red)from today's Inspiration Challenge- so I made this card, using a bit of recycled paper and some cardboard. Added some bright ribbon ties, along with brads and gems for embellishments.

This bird is so cute and really represents Sabrina's bird nicely. You are a master of bright, happy colors my friend! What a cheerful card to send someone in the dead of winter. Hugs! ~Karen.

Ah, you used the bird and the lemon! I've never managed to do that on one card. DH has already nabbed my card for a work colleague's birthday tomorrow ;-). That recycled paper along with the red ribbon captures the inspiration perfectly, Julia. Even before I followed the link I could just imagine the sort of dress it would be.
