I made this for the Sketch Challenge (my first ever!) and tried my best to think out of the box
I punched out three circles of printed cardstock and cut it into half to make the birds.
The tree and the background were hand drawn and coloured in with Winsor & Newton inks and outlined with a fine tip pen.
The leaves are from a Woodware set and I used the lovely, eco friendly Paris Trunk inkpad in Emerald Green.
The sentiment was taken from Tim Holtz's words sticker collection. The panel was faux stitched with a black Sharpie and adhered to a black card blank made from Papermania's Textured card stock
