Karen, I just watched a video of Creative Inspiration Magazine, and was blown away when I saw your card display, but especially THIS one!!! I love flowers, and hydrangeas are my favorite, and I am obsessed with learning to color a whole lot better than I do now! So I had to find you, and first looked on Facebook and quite easily found you and left a message where you had displayed another stunningly colored floral card. Then saw a link for THIS card, and had to follow it!!! How cool too that you live in Ontario!!! I'm in Stoney Creek...
I am in love with your coloring, and I was, to be honest, startled when I saw you had used brusho's, for I haven't been so taken with them previous to seeing your AMAZING card! Perhaps I am simply intimidated by them--who knows!!! Yet you've made me take a second look at them, although I have purchased some Zig Clean Color brush markers, so I need to play with those first... But the brilliance you have achieved and the great dimension--and I want to reach out and TOUCH those petals!!! They look SO real!!!
I am in the midst of the largest craft reorganization ever--have just about finished organizing all of my stamps and dies into binders by subject--flowers, birthday and other sentiments, baby, male, etc and I confess that my flower section is probably the healthiest. Yet, no matter what, I must have this huge stamp set, and I LOVE it only because of how you have so artistically used it. I am rambling on and I apologize, I'm just so in awe of what you have created!!!
I'm going to go back and just look at it again, and I so appreciate all I am learning from doing just that. One has to be an amazing artist to teach just by others looking at what one has created, I think, and you definitely fall into that category!!!
You've made at least my week, seeing your artistic creations, Karen--what a delight, and a definite encouragement and a nudge to keep going and to get this work done!!! Bless you!!! I didn't even look at your SCS name until after I'd posted this note, then I realized I've seen many of your works of art, and have admired your work for some time...
Best wishes to you,
Joanne
(Again, my apologies for writing such a long note!!!)
