Stamped the Tree from "Thoughts and Prayers" onto a torn dictionary page (featuring the word 'tree' & definition!) with Chocolate Chip ink. Distressed the edges of the green textured panel with the distressing tool, and adhered the stamped dictionary page to it. Added the brad and fastener (what is this thing called??!?!) to the panel so it points at the tree definition. Attached the panel to the card base.
Stamped the Happy Birthday banner on Very Vanilla using New England Ivy ink, and fussy cut it. Adhered this to a strip of the green textured CS, and trimmed a narrow border. Then adhered this to a strip of Chocolate Chip CS and trimmed a narrow border. Popped it up on the dictionary panel with dimensionals.
I added some brown Opaques pearl embellies in the upper right corner of the green panel, and some mini ones onto the banner. I removed the fastener strips from the leaf brad, and attached that above the banner with more dimensionals.
A birthday card for an artistic friend of mine--hope she likes it! TFL!

What a fantastic birthday card LizBeth! There is a "quiet beauty" to this card that really speaks to me. I also love that this card will work beautifully for a man or a woman. Hugs! ~Karen.
