I used the Up & Away Dies that coordinate (offered as a bundle!) with the Lift Me Up! stamp set. I die cut the balloon and a few silver clouds from silver foil. I also made an 1/8" frame to enhance the main scene from Mint Macaron.
I used Dimensionals to pop the balloon and the main scene. The silver clouds are glued down flat. I also think the tilt of the main scene adds a little interest. I topped the card off with a tiny bow made from the Smoky Slate Stitched Ribbon. This ribbon is very bow making friendly IMO.
This stepped card didn't really take any special technique just a few more steps that make this one pop just a little more. The coordinating dies really make s steppin' it up easy!

Great ideas for stepping up a card without a lot of fuss! Love the silver clouds and the ribbon plus tilting the main image really kicks it up a notch. Another great card!
