My card for the alphabet challenge of several weeks ago, to feature the lettery 'Y'. Seeing as my screen name is yellow rose, I figured I would make a yellow card, but it does not have a rose. The main image, flying stars by Penny Black was heat embossed in white on yellow cs. I then brushed spiced marmelade over the image with a make up brush. I get a smoother colour with a brush than I do with a sponge. The background die cut did not cut completely, but I did not want to waste the paper, so I cut off the right side along the edge, and put the sentiment along that side. the butterflies were a two step stamping feature and I fussy cut them.

What a beautiful card for the Y alphabet challenge Ina! I love these wonderful flowers you did in white and how you set them off with your sponging. The background die is gorgeous and truly frames this scene so beautifully. Your sentiment is fabulous and goes perfectly with this wonderful card! Hugs! ~Karen.
