Another fun technique challenge from Sabrina. I made this with my new Altenew Painted Flowers set from my Falliday Fest prize from Simon Says Stamp! This set was on my wishlist for quite a while and I am not disappointed!
I stamped my flowers on vellum and then die cut and scored. I sponged the blue around the edges to create a glow around the lanterns. Then I strung up some good embroidery floss and hung my lanterns. A perfect New Year's card!

What a lovely set to get with your Falliday prize; they have a perfect Asian feel to make the most beautiful party lanterns. The blue sponging really adds to the Idea of them all lit up at night.

These are SO pretty! I love the gently coloured flowers! Your sponged background is beautiful and gives the lanterns the perfect atmosphere to shine in!
