Hi Jean, you had me at Holiday Inn! I remember when they were new motels...fresh with mod neon signs. Takes me back to my girlhood. So I am decorating for Christmas...one last ornament on the tree.
I used a Texture Fade from Sizzix stamping the Merry Christmas collage onto the folder. Embossed for the background. The super cute lady was fussy cut and paper pieced with Basic Grey papers. I love her poodle skirt has retro ornaments on it. Added a necklace of liquid pearls and a few sequins. Love the retro colors, too.
Thanks Jean for adding to my holiday spirit. If only I could finish that last minute housekeeping...
Come on everyone, check out the VSN...you'll love it. I promise.

Wowie zowie, Susan! This is so classic and FUN. I love what you've done with the background and the vintage chick really was the perfect choice! Happy Holidays to you and thanks for playing.
