Hi all, sorry this is so late, we were working at the house (we are putting up for sale), all day!!! I am sooo tired of working on that house, it has been since July but we are done (pretty much) and it looks so nice!
Anyway, I chose this vase for inspiration.
I worked on it much too long. I had to do surgery on the deer to make their heads go down some so I had to hide the scars with fun flock...I first tried the snow paste but it looked stupid so I had to start over.
Each layer is popped up except the first trees and each layer was splattered with white for snow. Hard to see. I used the snow paste on the trees as snow would accumulate. I do not know what to use for a sentiment...seems like peace just doesn't go. LOL! So I will probably put something inside about nature.
Thanks for looking.

Robin, I am laughing about the potential "peace" sentiment!! That would be so cool though!! It certainly would give the recipient a good laugh!! As for the card, I LOVE it, especially how you arranged the stags and used the flock! The trees are gorgeous and I love how you layered them! The snow looks great! Awesome card!!

Those deer look fabulous against your gorgeous, snow covered tree, Robin! You create the most wonderful scenes and I enjoy seeing each and every one of them.

A deer scene is normally peaceful, but not when they are bucking heads like these! Hopefully they are just playing...Your fur was a wonderfully good idea as it helps to make them appear more realistic! Love the snow on the trees and the 3-D effect!

Very creative and I love the texture on the deer. This brings back happy memories of seeing stags battling both in Mammoth Hot Springs and Estes Park area
