Saw some lovely cards from VSN and decided to play in a few of the challenges. This one is for Ceal's fun Blue Challenge. Yesterday, I watched Lydia's video on her Cling Wrap Technique here:
I decided it would be fun for this blue challenge; however, I realized it wasn't probably made for 45 minute card deadlines until I had already done my sprays. So I scrunched up my cling wrap, took a couple of sips of coffee, and got out my heat gun. So my piece does not have those fun lines that Lydia achieved but I love it anyway.
Embossed on my images and sentiment and it was done. Less than 20 minutes to do this one!!!
Super fun challenge, Ceal!!! Super fun technique, Lydia!

WOW, Nancy! Unbelievable that you did this so fast. Your background is just spectacular capturing wither with the snow! What a gorgeous stamp you chose for this! Love your rich, dark sky too!

Oh my, Nancy! This looks like such a cold blustery nighttime flight for poor Santa! I hope he's got Rudolph hooked on in the front (where we can't see) to help guide his sleigh! Sheer Gorgeousness!

You have created a wonderful snowy background for all that lovely white embossed forest. Just what us in the southern hemisphere think Christmas weather is all about. Makes cooking that hot Christmas dinner a lot easier.

Amazing colors on your BG! Now you will have to do the technique again with no heat gun but even with it your sky looks brilliant! Super stunning card Nancy.

I love it too. I might have to give the plastic a try. Don't have any and it's 30 below zero here with the wind chill, and I'm sure not going out for any anytime soon, my southern roots aren't happy in boots. I need sandals and sunshine to get my creative juices flowing.
