As usual, I found two inspirations, but today I combined them into just one card. I got the layout of the card from this: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/41306521558779811/

I was really nervous that this card was going to come out awful. I have bad luck with this kind of BG, but it came out pretty good. Then I had to stamp the cattails which I was sure I would smudge, because I always smudge my glossy cardstock, but I did OK. Then I had to draw in the water with Sharpie. That was terrifying, but worked out really well. Finally, I spent about five minutes with my Stamp-a-ma-jig trying to decide just the right spot to put the sentiment. I put it inside the orange so it would have the yellow glowing all around it. I LOVE the way this card came out and I'm really frustrated that it was so difficult to photograph. Let me tell you this picture does not do this card justice. It's definitely one of my all time favorites.

Love how well you can take 2 such totally different inspirations and seamlessly blend them into one awesome card! I feel your pain about stamping onto glossy stock (especially with pigments!) but it worked out beautifully for you today.
