For todays Free For All challenge - something wood is my stenciled/sponged tree using 3 colors of distress inks. After sponging the tree I removed the stencil and used a fine point black alcohol ink pen to make bark lines, then I chalked some blue for the sky.
For the MIX challenge to make a holiday card. I stamped the cardinal with Memento black ink, then colored with alcohol ink and re-stamped with VersaFine Black ink. Used the matching die to cut it out and ran black marker around the edges to cover any white left on the edges after cutting. I used a drop of white enamel for the eye and a thin white line under the eye to help define it better. Ran thick portions of glue along the tops of the branches and added white Flower Soft for the snow. Die cut the black mat and sentiment and assembled
the pieces.

Spectacular card! Love the texture you manually added to your tree and as always, the coloring on your cardinal is just beautiful! You created such a fabulous sky with your chalks too!
