It's a Holiday MIX Woodgrain greeting per Jeannes' challenges today in the Free for All and the MIX. Perfect for another quick Christmas card to a logging family close to my heart.
I dry embossed the Tim Holtz 'woodgrain' folder from Sizzix. It was then greatly distressed with the TH di 'Weathered Wood' ink along with Gelatos, and many different Color Box Chalk Inks.
I added the Stampers Anonymous Tim ticket: Merry Christmas that was inked with VersaFine 'Crimson Red' and embossed in clear. A snippet of burlap was stapled to the end.
A cranberry mat on 'Rustic Cream' cs and it was done.
We are still shivering under several inches of ice here in the valley. I've got my fingers wrapped around a mug of Lady Londonderry Tea. Delish! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment today. They will warm my heart.

Wow, this looks so real! I can see all the color and smell the tea. I'll be right there, so make sure the doorway is clear of ice, I'll be covered in snow!

Outstanding job on that wood grain background, Susan! The Merry Christmas ticket looks terrific with the twine and I love your use of staples, another thing I forget to use. Thanks for the reminder to dust of my Merry Christmas ticket stamp!
