I created the weathered board bg by streaking acrylic paints with a brush onto the gray CS, covered it all with Elmer's glue, dried, and used a Copic to draw the lines for the individual boards. Distressed the edges. The bird panel was watercolored and given the "toothbrush snow" treatment.

What a sweet image! Your soft coloring is gorgeous, and contrasts beautifully with your faux wood, which is awesome! Wonderful card!

Beautiful distressed wooden bg, Sallie! Love the way you worked that piece with extremely torn edges to make it appear quite old and rustic-Gorgeous! As for the little bird, you do wonders with them....beautifully colored & your itty bitty falling snow looks Amazing~
