This card is for yesterday and today's challenges: Sketch Challenge, SC623, hosted by Diane (DCinkit), and Way to Use It Challenge, WT614, Sing, Sing a Song, hosted by Sabrina (Cook22).
I have made all the Christmas cards that I need for this year (I think), so I decided to go with a Valentine's Day theme for my card. For the sketch challenge, I used a heart instead of an oval per the sketch. I have had some mini heart sequins for a long time and never used them and thought they would be perfect for making my card a heart-shaped shaker box card.
Sabrina's challenge is to create a song-based card. Because I used hearts, I thought that the Beatles' song, All You Need Is Love, would be a perfect song to represent. I used the Hero Arts “Love” stamp and die for the sentiment.

Love it! This is a fabulous take on the sketch. I love how you changed the oval to a heart, because I love hearts. And you made it shaker card! The double layered "love" is great and represents the song nicely! So do all the hearts on the embossing and papers. It's lovely to see a Valentine card among all the Christmas and holiday cards. It's a lovely one, too! TFS

Hearts, hearts, hearts....romantic and lovely with an interactive element of the shaker too, Bev. Really a sweet and lovely card...whether for valentine's or just a "love" card.

What a beautiful and elegant shaker card, Bev. I have to say I'm surprised more people didn't move on from Christmas, I was expecting to be in a minority!! There are so many wonderful details in this - and that heart paper is gorgeous. It is paper, I think? At first I thought it was stencilled with paste, it looks so textured.
